SourceFlow: Tell us a bit about Acre as a business?

Chris: “Acre is a global leader in sustainability recruitment, with offices in London, Amsterdam, New York and Singapore. We specialise in senior-level hiring across clean technology, ESG, sustainable finance and more. Our clients are mission-driven organisations, and we pride ourselves on connecting purpose-led professionals with impactful roles. We needed a digital presence that matched our purpose, credibility and ambition.”

“We had been ready to upgrade our website for a while to something that provided more flexibility and understanding of our needs.

Chris: “Really smooth. We had a clear vision and even designed some of the site in Figma ourselves. The team was great at driving the project forward. SourceFlow: What was your goal with the new website?

Chris: “We wanted to reposition our recruitment marketing strategy. The previous website was heavily candidate-focused and brought in a lot of traffic that wasn’t always relevant to the senior-level roles we fill. The new recruitment website design and functionality helps us attract the right audience - especially clients - and gives us better visibility over lead sources and engagement.”

 

SourceFlow: How is the website performing now?

Chris: “It’s performing really well. Although our traffic numbers are lower, that’s by design - we’re now attracting more qualified traffic and improving visibility across key pages.

 

“As part of this project, we rethought our SEO strategy, improved our brand messaging, and now have tools in place to segment and qualify leads better. It’s led to a major step forward for our recruitment marketing performance.

“As a result, we’ve seen a huge improvement in how we’re ranking and being discovered on Google. In the three months following launch, our homepage saw a 127.1% increase in organic search impressions, while the jobs page jumped by 152.2%, and the contact page saw 156.8% growth compared to the previous period.

 

“We also saw strong improvements in average search position - with our jobs page ranking 103.8% better, and the homepage performance improving by 66.6%.”
