On 8th September 2026, SourceFlow launched their new recruitment marketing automation platform, designed specifically to amplify lead generation and candidate attraction for recruitment agencies.
The release targets the widespread issue of tech fragmentation, which frustrates recruitment leaders by generating tonnes of manual admin tasks and breaking sales and hiring processes. By integrating top-of-funnel demand generation and marketing automation tools directly with existing applicant tracking systems (ATS), the platform provides a single source of truth for recruitment businesses looking to supercharge their digital revenue generation..
The core problem the launch addresses is ROI blindness. In many recruitment firms, marketing activity sits completely outside the recruiter’s daily workflow. Marketers generate pipeline, but because those insights rarely reach the CRM, business leaders cannot see the direct line between a website visit and a placement. This disconnect often leads to marketing being viewed as a cost centre.
"What I'm trying to do here and what we're trying to do with our product is really bridge that gap between activity that marketers do and that which recruitment sees and then is able to act on," said SourceFlow CEO Matt Comber during the launch event.
When a client downloads a salary benchmark report or a candidate clicks a link in a campaign, that data is pushed straight into the ATS. Featuring deep integrations with Bullhorn, Spott, Mercury, and Atlas, the software provides recruiters with a dedicated marketing activity tab inside their CRM. Consultants can see exactly which emails a contact opened, what assets they downloaded, and their real-time lead score.
"This is not a replacement for your CRM's internal tools," Comber explained regarding systems like Bullhorn Automation. "It is a huge augmentation of that product, and I think it really helps that product along and helps us do the marketing bit."
Generic marketing automation software often struggles to meet the specific data demands of the staffing sector. To counter this, SourceFlow built an email marketing platform tailored strictly for recruitment. A major differentiator is its approach to data accuracy. Email open rates industry-wide are artificially inflated by corporate security scanners and privacy proxies. The SourceFlow system detects and filters these out automatically, reporting only genuine human engagement.
Additionally, the system tackles database duplication. When importing contacts, it checks for matches on names rather than just email addresses, allowing marketers to merge records safely without overwriting historical engagement data. All automated workflows, single broadcasts, and event registrations roll up into a single campaign view. Furthermore, the pricing model charges by system usage and email volume, avoiding the common pitfall of penalising recruitment agencies for holding large candidate databases.
The launch also marks the debut of Marvin, a conversational AI marketing assistant. Built to help one-person marketing teams scale their output, the AI agent can draft emails, build target segments, and assemble automated journeys. For event management, Marvin can evaluate CRM segments, identify capacity shortfalls, and source external contacts to help fill registration quotas.
"Marvin is gonna be your best friend as a marketer. I have no doubt about that," Comber added.
To further consolidate the tech stack, the suite includes a native event management tool, replacing third-party vendors. Marketers can build branded registration pages, manage waitlists, and issue QR codes for phone-camera check-ins at the door. Because the tool is native, every event registration automatically writes back to the CRM and triggers subsequent automated workflows.
Will Astbury, Global VP of Growth at SourceFlow, summarised the impact platform will have: "The recruitment industry has been crying out for a reliable automation platform that unifies sales data, hiring processes, marketing campaigns, and cutting-edge AI."
